Blog361 doesn't have an index. It's an ecosystem.

Learning

I knew from the start, and still do, that Blog361 has to be a central part of this project. So the first thing I did was what everyone does: open a blank document and start listing topics as a brainstorm: artificial intelligence… sustainability… biomimicry… emerging technology… and then I stopped.

I was building drawers. Compartments. Silos.

Exactly what I don’t want.

What a forest teaches a blog

A forest is not organised into compartments. Fungi don’t keep to their own domain, trees to theirs, insects to theirs. Everything is connected. The value of an ecosystem doesn’t come from its parts; it comes from the relationships between them. A tree can’t survive without the fungal network connecting its roots to its neighbours’. A pollinator makes no sense without the flower, and a flower without the pollinator doesn’t either.

That’s how I want this blog to work.

The nine categories of Blog361 are not sealed compartments. They’re entry points into the same territory. You can come in through any of them, and you’ll end up connecting with the rest, because the thread running through everything is always the same: how to build smarter solutions by learning from nature and the technologies of our time, to create a more thriving planet and society.

The map of the territory

  • Biomimicry is the heart of everything. Nature has spent 3.8 billion years solving the same challenges that organisations face today: efficiency, resilience, adaptation, regeneration. Here we explore how to learn from it and apply its principles to real-world innovation, emulating nature: no waste, no inefficiency…
  • Artificial Intelligence is the technology changing the rules of the game more than any other, at the same time as generating the most uncertainty. I analyse it without the hype, with clear thinking. For me, AI is not an end in itself. The question I keep coming back to is: how can AI be a copilot and ally for purpose-driven innovation?
  • Emerging Technologies covers the rest of the tech ecosystem: 3D (and 4D) printing, blockchain, virtual and extended reality, robotics… I keep a close eye on everything that’s redefining what’s possible, applied to real-world challenges.
  • Sustainability & Impact is the why behind everything else: ecosystem restoration and conservation, planetary health, ESG, circular economy…
  • Business & Organisations presents real cases from entrepreneurship and established companies. I pay close attention to how people, teams and organisations are using creativity, technology and nature to transform how they work.
  • Trends is the antenna. Macro analysis, foresight, and attention to what’s coming. Spotting before others what will matter tomorrow in technology, sustainability and innovation.
  • Learning is the practical library. Guides, resources, courses and tools for ongoing exploration — from introductions for those just starting out, to advanced references for those already deep in the field.
  • Founder’s Diary is the most personal space: the logbook of someone building in real time, sharing what they learn without waiting to have everything figured out, and who believes honesty is more useful than perfection.

And then there’s the ‘361 Lab’

This is the category that excites me most and the hardest to explain. It’s embryonic ideas I’m putting out into the world, hoping someone will pick them up and bring them to life. The implicit message is simple: I have the idea. Do you have the resources and energy to execute it? Let’s talk.

As in nature, the best solutions are not built by a single organism. They’re built by the ecosystem.

Do you want to be part of this?

Create361 was born with a calling for impact, not speculation. There are two specific profiles I’d especially like to connect with: investors who see in the intersection of biomimicry, AI and sustainability a real business opportunity with purpose, and patrons who believe that funding projects like Create361 is a legitimate and meaningful way to leave a mark.

What I offer in return is authenticity, passion, transparency, clear thinking and direct access to a project being built in real time. hello@create361.io

One last thing

Each post will carry normally two categories. Not because it’s an arbitrary rule, but because almost no topic lives in just one drawer. I work on each post with AI as co-pilot, with the assistance of Claude, by Anthropic.

Welcome to the 361 ecosystem.

Which of these nine categories resonates most with you right now?
